During this very special and once-in-a-lifetime event, attendees were treated to an engaging conversation with Artie via a video feed from his residence in New Jersey. The event was hosted by GlenLakes Club manager Mr. Gaetano Broccoli aka “G”, a member of the Rolling Thunder family, in collaboration with GlenLakes ownership. The event offered a unique ability to honor and pay tribute to Mr. Muller in his co-founding of Rolling Thunder back in 1988.
Rolling Thunder, and Artie's vision as a Vietnam combat veteran, established the nonprofit organization to raise awareness and demand accountability for Vietnam War POWs and MIAs. The first Rolling Thunder ride across Washington's Memorial Bridge then to the National Mall in 1988 has since evolved into an annual yet powerful display of patriotism and unwavering respect for all who defend our country, in all parts of the United States and beyond. His efforts, along with every member of Rolling Thunder national and state chapters including our own Mr. "G" has enabled a continuous and heightened awareness of our country's MIA and POW service members still not accounted for and have aided in the recovery of those heroes who gave their all for the freedom we enjoy today.
The pinnacle of the event at GlenLakes Country Club was the honor guard presentation by the Rolling Thunder Florida Chapter—a solemn moment when they presented a special “POW/MIA Chair of Honor” to SGT Artie Muller, to forever honor him for his vision, leadership and unwavering diligence on behalf of all veterans and to the idea of "Leave No Man Behind". The Chair of Honor will permanently reside with the GlenLakes community (pictured to the left), and proudly displayed at the GlenLakes Country Club lower level "Patriot Hall". All GlenLakes residents and visitors are encouraged to visit and witness this poignant tribute.

For all who are visiting this webpage today, please take moment to reflect this solemn fact:
There are still thousands of spouses, parents, sons, daughters, and now grandchildren and great grandchildren who still have unanswered questions regarding their loved patriot warrior still unaccounted for. That fact still weighs heavily in their hearts—and Rolling Thunder and GLVFA members as well. We all owe them a debt of gratitude that can never be fully repaid. We must not forget our duty to our unreturned heroes, regardless of the passage of time.

Tribute To Our
POW and MIA Heros
In the Silence of Absence
In the quiet of dawn, where shadows linger, A nation’s heart echoes a solemn refrain. America's brave MIA and POWs, their names etched in memory, Heroes lost, yet never forgotten, their sacrifice our pain.
They vanished into the mist, their footsteps fading, leaving behind families with hearts torn asunder. Brave souls, swallowed by the abyss of war, their absence a wound that time cannot plunder.
In prison cells, they endured the darkest nights, Their spirits unyielding, their courage aflame. Steel resolve, unbroken by chains or despair, they whispered hope through the bars of their claim.
The empty chairs at tables set for homecomings, The unwritten letters, the longing in a mother’s eyes, America’s silent sentinels, steadfast and resolute, their sacrifice etched in the vast, open skies.
We honor them with folded flags and salutes, their names etched on monuments, hearts heavy yet proud. Our MIA and POWs, your legacy burns bright, in the silence of absence, your courage sings loud.
