All Membership Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at the GlenLakes Country Club, upstairs ballroom area unless a different date is specifically noted in the following events below.

SFC Olivia Ferguson, US Army Recruiting, will be our guest presenter this month. The focus on the presentation will be on current recruitment statistics and what is on the horizon for recruiting new soldiers to protect America.
Special Guest Speaker:
Ms. Summer Blevins, on behalf of Congressman Bilirakis, will update attendees on the status of VA Benefits and Programs.
With all the recent press reports regarding the VA and its ability to continue to provide benefits to veterans amongst massive staff reductions recently announced, it's essential we hear the real story and impacts of this announcement
from our district representatives.

Our June speaker will be Kendra Kenney, executive director of People Helping People of Hernando County. PHP’s mission is to end hunger in Hernando County by breaking the cycle of poverty among the people served. Besides providing food, PHP will link people to benefits, education, training and resources empowering them to help themselves to become productive members of Hernando County.

Cindy Roberts (Co-Location Coordinator for Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL) will be our guest speaker this month. She will detail the national program and focus on specific efforts for WAA at the Florida National Cemetery at Bushnell.
