Tai chi is a system of movements and positions believed to have developed in 12th Century China. Tai chi techniques aim to address the body and mind as an interconnected system and are traditionally believed to have mental and physical health benefits, such as for those afflicted with arthritis or have balance issues

Laura Gamba led GLVFA members Tai Chi classes for Arthritis and Fall Prevention Series (16 sessions offered twice weekly) which started on Tuesday, March 14th and will end on Tuesday, May 9th.  The classes were held at the GlenLakes mirror room in the lower level of the GlenLakes clubhouse.  

The following presenter was cancelled for this month's presentation due to cancellation.  This speaker will be rescheduled at a later time.

Our featured speaking this month will be Mr. Mark Downing, Director and Owner of Downing Funeral Home.
