Memorial Honor Request

The GlenLakes Veterans and Friends Association accepts requests to honor our GlenLakes Veterans who have passed away. When a Veteran who resided in GlenLakes passes, their family can request that the U.S. Flag at the GlenLakes Veterans Memorial be lowered to half-staff for a day of their choosing, in recognition of the Veteran’s service to the nation.

On the designated day, a prominent placard displaying the Veteran’s name and service affiliation will be positioned at the base of the U.S. flag. The flag will be lowered at sunrise and raised again at sunset.
