Happy 247th U.S. Army Birthday!!

June 14th, 1775 -- official birthdate of the U.S. Army.  The Army was founded when the Continental Congress first authorized the muster of troops under its sponsorship. On this day, the birth of the Infantry Branch occurred when ten companies of rifleman were authorized by a resolution of the Continental Congress.   Hoo-Ah!!
